~ a Sweet Date - Date Truffles ~

                         

Sugar free lifestyle is pretty tough when you have sweet tooth. It means to cut out all the refinery sugar from your diet. Isn't it scary to think , no sweet taste in life.
Well, you don't need to worry cause you can have sweet tastes from natural fruits or from stevia .There are many options in the markets for a sugar-free person. But one of the best idea to make dessert without sugar is always with dates , it's natural and healthy. So, why wait start making this date full of laddos.

INGREDIENTS :
  1. Dates - 15-20 
  2. Shredded Coconuts 
  3. Almonds or almond powder
  4. Digestive Biscuits (crushed) - 10
  5. Elaichi powder  (cardamom powder)- 1-2 pinch
  6. Cinammon powder - 1-2 pinch
  7. Ghee 
METHODS: 
  1. Soak the Dates in water for at least 6 hours or overnight and then drain well. De seed the dates
  2. Soak the almonds in warm water and peel off its skin.
  3. Place the peeled off almonds in a mixture grinder .Grind it until powder like consistency is achieved.
  4. Add all the ingredients  with 2 tsp of warm melted ghee (clarified butter) and make a dough
  5. Rub your hand with ghee and start shaping them into balls.
  6. Roll the ball into the shredded coconuts .
 NOTE:
  1. Ladoos or truffles can be kept in room temperature but i find more tasty when it is kept in the
